About our care

What services does Barasi Care provide?

We provide personal care, companionship, meals and light housekeeping, respite care and dementia and memory care support in clients’ own homes. Many families combine more than one service.

How do I start a conversation about care?

The simplest way is to send us a message through our contact page or call us on (555) 010-0123. Tell us a little about who needs support and how best to reach you, and we will get back to you to talk it through.

How are individual care needs discussed?

We start with a conversation with the person who needs care and, if they wish, their family. We ask about daily routines, the tasks they need help with, their preferences and anything important you want us to know about their health or home. That conversation shapes the care options we suggest.

Which areas does Barasi Care serve?

We currently serve Springfield and surrounding communities. If you are nearby but not sure whether we cover your address, please get in touch.

Can family members be involved in care decisions?

Yes. With the consent of the person receiving care, we welcome family involvement in planning care and keep families updated as care goes on.

Can care change as needs change?

Yes. Let us know when circumstances change — after a hospital stay, for example, or as someone needs more or less help — and we will talk through adjusting the care.

How much does in-home care cost?

Cost depends on the type of care, how often visits happen and how long they last. Get in touch and we will explain the options for your situation before any care begins.

About specific services

Can personal care be combined with other services?

Yes. Many families pair personal care with meals and light housekeeping or companionship so that one visit covers what the day needs. We will talk through the combination that makes sense when you get in touch.

Is companionship care only for people who live alone?

No. It can also help when a spouse or family member is the main caregiver and would value someone else spending time with their loved one. Our respite care page explains how that support can give family caregivers a break.

Is this a full cleaning service?

No. Light housekeeping covers the everyday upkeep of the spaces someone uses — tidying, laundry, the kitchen and living areas. Deep cleaning and heavy household jobs are not part of this service.

How much notice do you need for respite care?

It helps to get in touch as early as you can, especially for a planned trip. Contact us with your dates and we will let you know what we can arrange.

At what stage of dementia can in-home support help?

Needs vary from person to person. Some families look for support soon after a diagnosis; others when daily routines become harder to manage. Talk to us about your situation and we will discuss what kind of help may be appropriate.

Still have questions?

We are happy to talk through your situation and answer anything that is not covered here.
